St. Mary's Altar Society is an integral part of the Bryan-College Station Deanery Council of Catholic Women.

JoAnna Czajkoski (Leadership)
The chair is the organizational resource person for all other commissions such as gathering prizes for the raffle fundraiser, encouraging participation in all conventions & meetings, social gatherings, membership drives, Nursing Home Christmas party, and other society programs.
Clara Keel (CEF - Clerical Endowment Fund)
This chair enrolls to CEF members on their birthday when present at monthly meetings, students in their first Communion, the Confirmation students, and members experiencing death in the family. She also organizes the annual CEF drive and submits a complete report of activities to the Deanery Chair.
JoAnna Czajkoski (Spirituality)
This chairperson encourages members to spiritual growth, promotes prayer partners with Clergy, Deacons, seminarians and religious; maintains Altar flower decor for Pentecost, Mother's Day, July 4th, Holy Thursday, Fall Festival, Easter & Christmas; Altar linens, leading the Rosary prayed at the Grotto during May & October. She also provides the list of deceased members to be honored in the Memory Book at the next Convention.
Wanda Ray (Service)
They help with family meals after funerals. This involves calling members to help in the kitchen and clean up thereafter. They assist the Nursing Home residents with bingo, in various community functions and encourage ecumenical service with other churches in the area.
Frances Robertson (Service Sub-Committee)
Arranges Flags at SM Cemetery on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Veterans' Day. This is our way of thanking those who served the Country so we can keep our freedom.
Helen Talley (Rural Life)
The group provides for the needs of the Altar: vestment, altar cloths & linens, hosts, wine, candles, even flowers & plants; and many other items, religious and not, that help provide for the SM Church.
